Hands of two people talking sitting on a table with a glass of water and a tablet and a smartphone on the table

Raising the Floor brings together like-minded people from many different organizations, disciplines and backgrounds who share our goal under whatever label:

… to ensure that everyone who faces accessibility barriers due to disability, literacy, digital literacy, or aging, regardless of economic resources, can access and use the Internet and all its information, communities, and services for education, employment, daily living, civic participation, health, and safety.

This includes people from software development, academia, industry (mainstream and Assistive Technology), consumers, non-governmental organizations, governments and activists.

The strength of RtF is the calibre of our supporters, the people and programs that make up the RtF initiative and their common objective of ensuring access to the Web for all.

We need more people on our teams; developers, designers, collectors, testers, researchers, translators, reviewers, legal advisors, community builders, doers!
