United Cerebral Palsy Endorses GPII

United Cerebral Palsy has endorsed GPII and has committed to "collaborating with GPII partners and supporters" to work towards "an interconnected device and application landscape that has accessibility within its very bedrock." The letter of support, from Stephen Bennett, UCP's President and CEO, points to the wide gap between disabled and non-disabled usage of the Internet (54% vs. 81%) as a sign that "a global accessibility framework [is] long overdue." We look forward to working with UCP, well-known for its many technology initiatives such as Life Labs. We welcome the support and participation of all advocacy organizations as a key component of GPII's program.
