In a presentation delivered at SXSW Interactive 2010, Rich Schwerdtfeger, Distinguished Engineer and Software Group Accessibility Strategist and Architect at IBM, presented and was interviewed by Sharron Rush of Knowbility about the accessibility of emerging technologies. The presentation, titled, "Accessibility: What It Is For and Where It is Going" explored whether a Software as a Service (SaaS) model could deliver assistive technologies as a cloud-based service and discussed the use of National Public Inclusive Infrastructures (NPIIs) as a new business model for emerging assistive technologies.
