Raising the Floor Leaders meet in Europe

A number of leaders and participants in the Raising The Floor consortium met with counterparts in Europe over the last two weeks discussing plans for collaboration on the development of a European Public Inclusive Infrastructure to expand on the idea of a National Public Inclusive Infrastructure introduced in the United States by Raising the Floor members as part of the Broadband Plan development process.   Meetings were held at ICT 2010 and afterward in Brussels, in Madrid Spain, and again in Seville Spain in conjunction with the AEGIS conference.  The meetings resulted in agreements to work together further and to submit a proposal to the EC on the NPII/EPII for the January deadline
