Consortium of 31 companies, universities and disability programs turns in GPII related proposal to European Commission.

In response to the FP7 call by the EC for a large-scale integrating project of research on "Personalisable software- based assistive solutions supported through online/cloud-based platforms." a coalition of over 30 organizations including mainstream and assistive technology companies, universities,  government agencies,  research organizations, disability organizations, and Raising the Floor - International, submitted a proposal to advance key components of the Global Public Inclusive Infrastructure plan.  The funding range for the call was 5 -10 million euros.  More details will be available further into the competition.
